Yuletide 2022 (now up)

issenlloHi Yuletide author, thank you for offering to write a fic! Here are some of my thoughts, but please take them purely as inspiration and feel free to write the fic that's at your fingertips.
My few DNWs: no high school, coffeeshop or zombie AUs. I'm iffy about specifying other stuff because to me, it really depends on how in-character it is, and whether it's just (for example) violence for violence's sake, which seems a bit tiresome.
So, my thoughts on:
HIStory 3 - Trapped
I would be interested in a love triangle between Meng Shaofei, Tang Yi and Jack... not! ^_^; Yeah, I'm waiting for Jack to discover Zhao Zi, if he hasn't yet.
Actually, I'm wondering what it would be like if Jack really was a spy (or double-spy) for another gang, or another international organisation, and he was forced to deal with Tang Yi's growing relationship with Meng Shaofei in the meantime. Outside viewpoint is pretty fun.
Or to turn it around, Jack starts a relationship with Zhao Zi, TY and MSF are all iffy, wondering if they should be warning either Jack or Zhao Zi off. And then events prove that there is more to Jack than they thought.
The Imperial Coroner
Your choices are: (a) sedoretu (definition)
(b) case-based (or aftermath of a case); or
(c) for once, Jing Yi shows off his political acumen. In the show, he likes to pretend he's just following orders and he prefers martial arts, but he's no less politically astute than Xiao Jingyu. It'd be fun if Leng Yue is the one who pushes him to out himself.
琉璃 Love and Redemption
I chose this on the spur of the moment. One thing we know about Yu Sifeng is that his earliest incarnation was as Xi Xuan and that was when he got to know the War God, when he was just a godling. What was his life then, and what made him interested in the War God, and to such an extent that he is willing to become human for her (and get killed at every turn aka 10 times)? Is he that much in love? He has some kind of torture kink going on? Unresolved parental issue?
I hardly ever go for reincarnation fics, but if you feel that reincarnation in modern day with modern-day self-examination (maybe even with a psychiatric angle) would help to explain Yu Sifeng, go for it. ^__^; Or you know, maybe just another day in the life of Yu Sifeng, husband to local lush Xuan Ji.
